Marian Jean Ballew

 Marian Jean Tweed Ballew, 89, of 902 Winterhawk Circle, Inman, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum. 
Marian was born in Spartanburg on May 29, 1933, a daughter of the late Bernice Dillard Tweed and Everett Tweed. She was the wife of James Broadus "Jim" Ballew of the home.
She was a 1951 graduate of Spartanburg High School and had retired from S & S Manufacturing. She later worked at Jack and Jill Day Care Center in Inman. She was a member of Lake Cooley Baptist Church in Wellford. 
In addition to her husband, Marian is survived by a son, Terry Wyatt and his wife, Sallie of Inman, a daughter, LuAnn Nance and her husband, Ken of Lyman, her fur baby, Gracie, two granddaughters, and four great grandchildren. She was the last survivor of her immediate family and was also predeceased by a son, Dennis Carl Wyatt.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 1st at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens in Wellford with Rev. Joe White officiating. The family is at the home where they will receive friends.
