Margie Caldwell Dickson, 84, formerly of Johnson Avenue, Inman passed away Friday, May 15th, 2015. Margie was born in Inman on July 17, 1930, a daughter of the late Kate Denton Caldwell and Aubrey Lamar Caldwell and was the widow of Robert D Dickson. She was retired from Raycord Industries and was a member of Inman Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two daughters; Charlyn McFadden (David) of Spartanburg, Lynn Blackwell of Spartanburg, a sister; Doris C. Pruitt (Julian) of Inman, Sisters-in-law, Dorothy Maxwell of Tryon, and Faye Dickson of Inman, her grandchildren; Russ Washburn (Melissa), Andy Blackwell (Mai) of Lyman, and her great grandchildren; Payton and Maribel Washburn, Andrew Blackwell, and Nyla Wang. She was predeceased by a grandson, David C. McFadden III and sisters, Hallie White, Allene Cooley, Angie McCutcheon, Zell Hawkins, and a brother, Paul Caldwell. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Sunday following the service at the graveside. A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 17th, with Rev. Dottie Metropol officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman Presbyterian Church, 26 S Main St Inman, SC 29349 or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills 130 Forest Glen Drive Columbus, NC 28722.
