Mrs. Margie Mae Bailey Craig, 77, of 249 Bishop Rd. went home to be with her Lord Thursday, June 30th, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Craig was born in Rock Hill, SC on July 26, 1933, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wardlaw Bailey. She was the wife of Rev. Bruce Craig and was a devoted wife and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Highland Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Rodney Craig and his wife Janice of Inman, two sisters, Mildred Kennington of Rock Hill, SC, Sissy Cade of York, SC, six grandchildren, Hunter. Joshua, Conner, Faith and Patrick Craig and Whitney Greer and her husband Timothy. She was predeceased by two brothers, John T.. and Ernest Bailey, three sisters, Ruth Sutton, Edna Lockridge, and Shirley Ashworth and a daughter, Mary Joyce Craig.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 3, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Chapel with Dr. Julian Galloway and Mrs. Betty Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Highland Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery north of Greer, SC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service. The family is at the home.
