Spartanburg, SC---Mrs. Margie Jeanette Foster Adams, 87, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Friday, December 28th, at Valley Falls Terrace. Born in Wadley, Alabama on January 5, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Joe Reed and Lillian (Taylor) Foster. Mrs. Adams was a member of First Baptist Spartanburg and retired from Milliken & Company where she worked as a laboratory technician. She is survived by two daughters, Gretchen Adams of Clearwater, Fl. and Jennifer Adams of Inman, SC and one son, Tim Adams of Hudson, Fl. along with 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, James Reed. The family will receive friends Monday, December 31, 2012 from 1 -2 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the Seawright Funeral Chapel. Burial will be private. Family request donations to Hospice Care of SC, 110 Dillon Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
