Margaret Cartee Howard, 83, of Greer, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023.  She was predeceased by her parents, James Broudus Cartee and Minnie Roper Cartee as well as her brothers Olin D., James Broudus, Jr., and her sister, Joan Cartee Moore.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert J. Howard, Sr. and sons Robert J. Howard, Jr. (Alice, Peyton and Dakota) and Dr. Russell C. Howard (Andrea, Sydney, Kennedy and Mary-Clay).

Margaret was born in Fingerville, SC, but lived in Apalache (Greer) the majority of her life. Margaret retired from Shriners Hospital and was a member of Praise Cathedral Church of God in Greer.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Wood Memorial Park in Duncan conducted by Rev. Jerry Madden. The family is at the home and will receive friends Sunday at their home following the service.
