Margaret Louise Davenport, 75, of 330 Timberland Circle, Wellford, passed away Friday, April 10th, at her home.
Margaret was born in Spartanburg on April 3, 1945, a daughter of the late Ruby Mae Abernathy and James Arthur Easler and was the widow of Billy Davenport.
She retired as a nurse manager at Allen Bennet Hospital in Greer, formerly a part of The Greenville Hospital System.
She loved her family and was always everyone's caregiver.
She is survived by her loyal companion, John L. Duncan of Greer, three daughters; Sheila Madden and her husband Randy of Chester, Cindy Davenport of Wellford, Teresa D. Watts of Boiling Springs, a son; Donnie Davenport of Inman, four grandchildren; Megan Davenport of the home, Tara Hersey (Gary), Joshua Smith, Travis Smith (Kristen), four great grandchildren; Blake, Brice, Traycen, Rayna, two brothers; Roy Easler of Spartanburg, Curtis Easler of Tacoma, WA, a sister, Inez Falati of Santa Barbara, CA, and her faithful dog, Max. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by a sister, Sara VanWagenen.
Due to the current global situation, the family will not be having a service immediately. Once a service is scheduled, it will be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local food bank.
