Mrs. Margaret Lance Cantrell, formerly of 391 Old Lowe Road died Thursday, July 31st, 2008 at Valley Falls Terrace Nursing Home.
A native of Spartanburg , she was the daughter of the late Martin L. and Fannie Q. Lance and the widow of Forrest Cantrell. She was born April 23, 1920.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg and was retired from Reeves Brothers. She is survived by two sisters, Barbara L. Kirby of Boiling Springs and Frances L. Bailey of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by two brothers, Jack D. Lance and Martin L. Lance and two sisters, Katherine L. Ballenger and Ida L. Davis. She was a devoted aunt to fifteen nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Spartanburg, SC, at 11:00am on Saturday, August 2nd, by Chaplain Gary Pindroh.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Interim Hospice 775 Spartan Blvd. Suite 101 Spartanburg, SC 29301 or Valley Falls Terrace Nursing Home, 405 Locust Grove Road Spartanburg, SC 29303.
