Margaret Alleen Barnette

Margaret Alleen Cochran Barnette, 95, of 3 H Street, Inman, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at her residence. Margaret was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on January 24, 1926, a daughter of the late George Cochran and Marie (Rogers) Cochran Prince. She was the widow of Frank Barnette, a homemaker, member of the Modern Maturity Club and a member of Inman First Baptist Church.
Margaret is survived by a daughter, Emily Burns and her husband Mike, of Campobello, South Carolina; two sons Roger Barnette and his wife Paulette, of Inman, South Carolina; Frankie Barnette, of Inman, South Carolina; two sisters, Rose Waldrop, of Chesnee, South Carolina; Doris Walkowicz, of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; a brother, David "Pee Wee" Cochran and wife Reida, of Campobello, South Carolina. Mrs. Barnette is also survived by, 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and spouse, Mrs. Barnette was predeceased by a son, William "Brent" Barnette, Sr., a granddaughter, Brandy Leigh Barnette , and a sister, Peggy Florence Rush.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM, Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Inman First Baptist Church, in the atrium. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 26th at Inman First Baptist Church, conducted by, Dr. Paul Moore and Rev Jeff Cochran. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
