Spartanburg, SC---Mrs. Margaret Lee Bailey, 92, of 400 Locust Grove Road Spartanburg but formerly of 80 East Main Street Inman, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 11th, 2010 at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Greer, SC on December 8, 1917,she was the daughter of the late Millard F. and Elizabeth (Campbell) Lee and the wife of the late James "Jim" Lewis Bailey.
Mrs. Bailey was a member of Standing Springs Baptist Church in Simpsonville, SC and was a homemaker.
She is survived by five daughters, Marie Bollinger of Irmo, SC, Sybil Burch of Inman, SC, Judy Prince and her husband Jerry of Simpsonville, SC, Nancy Bailey of Simpsonville, SC, Sarah Carolyn Medlin and her husband Bruce of Greer, SC; one son James "Jim" Bailey of Spartanburg and son-in-law ZD Rash of Williamston, SC. Nineteen grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren and twenty great great grandchildren survive her. She was predeceased by one daughter, Marian Rash; two granddaughters, Amy Rash Humphrey and Valerie Dawn Eaton and one grandson, James Michael Sims.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 14,2010 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Sisk officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman. Pallbearers will be Stephen Johnson, Danny Bollinger, Christopher Johnson, Michael Bollinger, Corey Bailey and James Clanton.
Following the burial, the family will be at the home of extended family members, Cecil and Betty Ballew at 12 C Street, Inman.
