Margaiel Reeves Morgan Stephens

Margaiel Reeves Morgan Stephens, 77, of  Spartanburg, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.

Born in Spartanburg County  on January 7, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Crawford Morgan and Mildred Grace Tate Morgan and was the wife of Charles H. Stephens, Jr. having celebrated 60 years of marriage.  

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a member of Cherokee Springs Baptist Church and worked as a Banker with Regions Bank and with Carolina Alliance Bank.  

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her daughter, Mandi Cash of Inman, South Carolina and her son, Chuck Stephens and his wife Kim of Easley, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Morgan Collins (Daniel) of Greenville, South Carolina, Meredith Duncan (Ian) of Greenville, South Carolina, Rebecca Stephens of Greenwood, South Carolina and Chase Stephens (Hannah) of Anderson, South Carolina; three great grandchildren, Millie Reeves, Marlowe and Ollie.

She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Richard "Dickie" Morgan.
