Marcus Earl Johnson

Campobello, SC--- Marcus Earl Johnson, 84, of 875 Dickson Road Campobello, SC passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at his residence. Born in Spartanburg County on April 7, 1932, he was a son of the late Paul and Lora (Runion) Johnson and was the wife of Bobbie (Crow) Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a Veteran of the United States Army and United States Air Force having served during the Korean War as a communications specialist. He was a member of Gramling United Methodist Church, worked for Southern Bell and was a farmer. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by three children, 4 step children, 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son and one step son. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Gramling United Methodist Church with Rev. Everett Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
