Marcus Taylor Horne, 20, of 157 Holden Acres Drive, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at Cannon Memorial Hospital, in Pickens, South Carolina. Marcus was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on January 19, 1996, the son of Brandy Constance Horne. He was a 2014 graduate of Chapman High School. Marcus was of the Christian faith and attended several churches with his friends. He was very active in sports, but his two passions were boxing and riding his motorcycle. Marcus was a former employee with BMW Manufacturing.
In addition to his mother, Marcus is survived by his maternal grandmother, Robbie Seals Horne of Inman, South Carolina; maternal grandfather, Russell A. Horne and his wife, Kitty of Gaffney, South Carolina; an uncle, Jeremy Horne and his wife, Michelle of Inman, South Carolina; a cousin, Adrian Horne of Gaffney, South Carolina; two brothers, Brandon McAbee and Tyler Rogers both of Spartanburg, South Carolina; and numerous friends. A visitation will be held, Sunday, October 23, 2016, from 2:00 PM until 3:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at Seawright Funeral Chapel, at 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 23, 2016, conducted by Rev. Jeremy McCarver. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, South Carolina. The family is at the residence.
