Lynn Suddeth Dobbins of Inman, SC went to her heavenly home to sing with the angels on July 15, 2024. She was the daughter of Rachel Suddeth and the late George Edward Suddeth. The loving wife of Danny Ray Dobbins and proud mother of Patrick Dobbins (Hayley) and Andrew Dobbins. Nana leaves a precious grandson, Connor Dobbins and granddaughter, Magnolia Dobbins. Three brothers are left to cherish memories: David Suddeth (Tammy) of Simpsonville, SC, Tim Suddeth (Vickie) of Simpsonville, SC and Paul Suddeth (Melissa) of Moore, SC. Many nieces and nephews are left to remember Mrs. Dobbins fondly.
Her education included graduating from Chapman High School in 1972, a graduate of Winthrop College in 1976 with a BS degree in elementary education and received a master's degree in elementary education in 1980.
Mrs. Dobbins was a retired school teacher having taught 28 years for Spartanburg District One Schools and served as the school chorus accompanist. An accomplished vocalist and pianist, Mrs. Dobbins used her talents at many weddings, funerals and events. She was a choir accompanist for many years. She enjoyed hobbies of bird watching, reading, being an animal lover, and collecting various things. She was selected as Professional Business Career Woman of the year for 1980.
The family will receive friends at Christ Lighthouse Ministry Center from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, Friday, July 19, 2024. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mitch Hines officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
