Mr. Lynn Vernon Coleman, 71, of 401 Chandler Rd. died Thursday, February 17th, 2011 at Alpha Health & Rehab. in Greer.
Mr. Coleman was born in Wellford on May 24, 1939, the son of the late Isham Vernon and Evie Brittain Coleman. He was a member of Wellford Baptist Church.
He is survived by one sister, Francell Phillips and her husband Melroe of Seymour, TN, He was predeceased by a brother Murray Coleman, three sisters, Lorene Walker, Doris Greer and Artie Galloway.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Chapel with Father Mike Schnatterly conducting the services. The family will receive friends immediately after the services at the funeral home. Interment will be private. The family will be at the home of Don and Judy Greer, 405 N. Main St., Greer, SC In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: United Cerebral Palsy Association, 1660 L St., NW , Suite 700, Washington, D.C 20036.
