Lula Mae Reynolds

February 4, 1922 — August 1, 2007

Lula Mae Garland Reynolds, 85, of 260 Cochran Rd. went to be with her Lord, August 1, 2007 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Columbia, S. C. and was the daughter of the late James Edward Garland, Sr. and Rosa Lee Carter Garland She was the widow of Marion Dean Reynolds, Sr. and was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and a friend to many.
Mrs. Reynolds was a member of the Little Mtn. Baptist Church and the Callie Sims Sunday School Class. She was a former Sunday School teacher, choir member, WMU director and was active in other areas of the church. She had retired from Lyman Printing and Finishing.
She is survived by two sons, Dean Reynolds, Jr. and his wife Connie of Lyman, Carroll Reynolds and his wife Sissy of Inman, a daughter, Janice Thompson of Spartanburg, four grandchildren, Pam Johnson and her husband John, Lisa Hudgens, Jamey Thompson and his wife Christy and Angie Thompson, five great grandchildren, Brittany and J. J. Johnson, Teri Reynolds, Taylor Hudgens and Noah Thompson. She was predeceased by four brothers, Edward, William, J. W. and Cleveland Garland and a sister, Elizabeth Garland.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 11 :00 A. M. at Little Mtn. Baptist Church conducted by the Revs. Josh Phillips, AI Phillips and Ansel Norris. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Callie Sims Sunday School Class is requested to serve as Honorary Escort.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Friday, Aug. 3, 2007 from 7- 9 P. M. at Seawright Funeral Home at 26 E. Main St. in Inman, S. C.
