Concord, NC--Mrs. Lula Mae Bradley Huntley, 91, of 815 Mt. Moriah Church Road, formerly of Spartanburg went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 16th, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center Northeast in Concord, NC.
Born in Spartanburg County on October 15, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Vinnie (Belcher) Bradley and was the wife of the late David Blaine Huntley.
Mrs. Huntley was a member of Westgate Baptist Church in Spartanburg and also attended Second Baptist Church in Kannapolis, NC. She retired from Spartan Mills after more that 40 years of service.
She is survived by a son, Eugene Ezell of Mt. Auburn, IN; daughter, Kathleen Cheek of China Grove, NC; daughter, Emily Horton of Greensboro, NC; son Robert David Huntley of Spartanburg; son, Mark Dewayne Huntley of Spartanburg; step-daughter; Rebecca Hinson of Landrum, SC; step-son, Steve Huntley of Inman, SC; step-son, Tommy Huntley of Inman, SC; sister, Pauline Ramantanin of Wellford, SC; sister, Hazel Farmer of Inman, SC. Twelve grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive her.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 1-2PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00PM in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Scoggins officiating. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs, SC. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
