Inman, SC--- Ludie West Brady, 90, of 122 Pineview Drive Inman, SC, died on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Spartanburg County on March 13, 1925, he was a son of the late William Franklin Brady and Annie Mary (Charles) Brady and was the husband of the late Josephine (Henderson) Brady. A graduate of Boiling Springs High School, he was retired from Inman Laundry and Cleaners after approximately 60 years of service/ownership. Mr. Brady was a member of Inman First Baptist Church and a United States Army Veteran of World War II. Surviving are three sons, Larry Brady and his wife Lynn ,Harold Brady, Phil Brady and his wife Barbara; two granddaughters, Caitlyn Brady and Christie Nelson. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by two brothers,Luther Brady and William Brady; two sisters, Hazel Brady and Bernice Newman and one granddaughter, Brandy Barnette. Visitation will be held in the atrium of the Inman First Baptist Church on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 1:00 -2:00 PM. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Dr. Paul Moore and Rev. Jeremiah Childers officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC. Memorials may be made to Inman First Baptist Building Fund, 14 North Howard St., Inman, SC 29349 or to the Brandy Barnette Memorial Scholarship Fund District One Schools, PO Box 218, Campobello, SC 29322. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Lake Emory Post Acute Care and Spartanburg Medical Center for their care in Mr. Brady's last days.
