Lillian (Lucy) Cooper Christopher, 78, of 80 Medical Center Drive, Woodruff, SC, formerly of Inman, SC, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Brookstone Terrace in Woodruff, SC.
Lucy was born in Spartanburg, SC on February 25, 1942, a daughter of the late Agnes Carol (Franklin) Cooper and William Robert Cooper.
She was the widow of Benjamin Murphy "Ben" Christopher and was co-owner of Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman
She was a member of Inman United Methodist Church and the Inman Garden Club.
She is survived by three daughters, Vicki McCutcheon and husband Tommy, of Inman, SC; Sheri Emory, of Inman, SC; Ericka Scaggs and husband Mark, of Lyman, SC; a son, Daryl Clayton, of Inman, SC; a sister, Anita Cooper, of Spartanburg, SC; four brothers, Ricky Cooper, of Inman, SC; David Cooper and wife Anne, of Holly Springs, SC; Gary Cooper and wife Heidi, of Boiling Springs, SC; Bill Cooper, of Green Creek, NC, six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sisters, Robbie, Marie and Norma Jean.
Cryptside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 6th at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC with Rev Ed Stallworth officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, PO Box 2624, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
