Lowell Brennen Bridges, 76, of 6830 New Cut Rd. died Sunday, December 30th, 2007 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Bridges was born in Lyman, SC on August 1, 1931 the son of the late William Franklin and Marie (Nalley) Bridges. He was the husband of Eleanor Shehan Bridges.
He was a member of Inman First Baptist Church, the Inman Masonic Lodge #201 and the Inman American Legion Post #45. He had retired from the US Air Force after 23 years of service and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam War. He also retired from Concept Packaging and enjoyed driving the transport trucks for the NASCAR teams that included Bobby Labonte.
Other survivors include two sons, Mike Bridges of Jackson, Mississippi, Bob Bridges and his wife Sue of Lakeland, Florida, a daughter. Robin Bridges of the home and one sister, Mary Phillips of Inman. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008 at 7:00 P. M at the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Everette Lineberger. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 5 to 7 P. M. at the funeral home before the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Spartanburg County Humane Society, 150 Dexter Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29301.
