Louise Elizabeth High Wilson, 98, of #3 3rd Street in Inman, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, September 14th, as family and friends were by her side.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Spartanburg County on September 9, 1919, a daughter of the late Carrie Elizabeth Wingo High and William Vanburen High. She was the widow of Robert E. "Bob" Wilson. She retired from Inman Mills after over 30 years of service and was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Inman.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by a daughter; Judy Hogue of Las Vegas, NV; a niece, who was also her caretaker, Kaye Pack of Inman; two grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, two great nieces, Ann Darby and Wanda Reid. She was the last survivor of her immediate family being predeceased by a granddaughter; Claudia Hogue, a son in law, Terry Hogue, three brothers, and three sisters. The family is at the home and will receive friends Saturday 1:00 until 1:45 at Seawright Funeral Home. Her funeral Service will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 16th, conducted by Rev. Gary Byrd . Burial will be private in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Interim Healthcare Hospice, 155 Deacon Tiller Court, Duncan, SC 29334 or Mobile Meals, PO Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
