Louise (Gibson) West McLeod, 84, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Carl Gibson and Kathryn Hicks Gibson. She was first married to the late James Nesbitt West and was also predeceased by her husband, Herman Milton McLeod. Also known as "Lucy" and "Granny", she loved nothing more than to be surrounded by her family. She is survived by her children, June Shelley Ashby (Page), Dennis James West (Monique) and Joe Earl West (Christy); grandchildren, Lucy Shelley Boland (Ben), Laney Shelley Nix (Philip), Spencer Shelley Plaisted (Nick), Jake S. Shelley, C.J. West (Charley) and Joey West and 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Edwin, Haskel, Pat and Donald Gibson and her loving sister, Carlene Styles. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC with Dr. Bob Pettit officiating. Visitation will immediately follow the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, 419 E.
