Louise Mullinax Lawter, 89, of 660 Windmill Hill Road died Tuesday, December 25, 2018 after a life filled with love and grace.
Born in Spartanburg on August 13, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Thomas A. and Eva Sue Ownby Mullinax and was the widow of Harold James Lawter.
She was member of Inman Mills Baptist Church where she was a member of the Sanctuary Sunday School Class, was a seamstress and Master Gardener.
She is survived by four daughters; Phyllis Cothran (Tom-deceased), Susan Maxwell (Van), Linda Burch (Gary), Debbie McClure (Eddie), a son; Mike Lawter (Janet), two brothers; Joe and Harold Mullinax, nine grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Stoddard, a brother; Richard Mullinax, two grandsons, and one great grandson.

*Due to inclement weather the service will be held in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jack Hames officiating. A private family burial will follow.

The family is at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Inman Mills Baptist Church Building Fund.
