Louise P. Garrett, 89, of Wellford, S. C. died Sunday, December 16th, 2007 at Camp Care Nursing Home. Mrs. Garrett was born in the Walnut Grove Community of Spartanburg County on April 29, 1918 and was the daughter of the late Homer and Neely Prather Parham. She was the widow of Loyd M. Garrett and was a member of Jackson Baptist Church in Wellford. She had retired from Burlington Industries.
She is survived by one daughter, Rena Jackson and her husband Lynch of Wellford , a grandson, Brian K. Jackson and his wife Becky, two granddaughters, Brittany and Bethany Jackson all of Wellford and a sister, Grace Pack of Spartanburg.
Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 11 :00 A. M. at Sunset Memorial Park in Spartanburg with Rev. Jim McMakin conducting the service. The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the graveside.
