Louis W Rolen, Jr.
Louis W Rolen, Jr., 91, of 154 Grandview Drive, Inman, SC, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at Golden Age in Inman. Louis was born in Spartanburg, SC on June 23, 1925, a son of the late Lillian (Morgan) Rolen and Louis W Rolen, Sr. He was the husband of Catherine Baker Rolen, was retired from Southern Railway and was minister of music and education at Inman First Baptist Church, Oak Grove Baptist Church and numerous other churches. Louis is survived by four sons Rich L Rolen (Nita), of Inman; Stan L Rolen, of Inman; Jack L Rolen (Wilda), of Campobello; Dale R Rolen, of Inman, three grandchildren, Stephanie Peeler, Lance Rolen, Lynette Rolen and two great grandchildren, Holden Brown and Reese Peeler. He served in the U.S. Army in WW II and was a member of American Legion Post #45 in Inman. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by Dr. Paul Moore. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Inman American Legion Post #45, PO Box 627, Inman, SC 29349. The family is at their respective homes.
