Louis Connor McAbee

Inman, SC---Mr. Louis Connor McAbee, 73, of 6211 Hwy 9 Inman, SC, passed away Monday, March 26th, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Spartanburg, SC on October 18, 1938, he was the son of the late Loyd L. and Annie (Edwards) McAbee and was the husband of Margie (Workman) McAbee having celebrated almost 52 years of marriage.
Mr. McAbee was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church and retired from Swofford Career Center where he was the welding instructor for 26 years.
In addition to his beloved wife Margie, he is survived by three sons, David L. McAbee (wife Rene') of Travelers Rest, Daniel L. McAbee (wife Debra) of Inman and Doug L. McAbee (wife Georgie) of Laurens; two sisters, Laura J. McAbee and Joyce Crocker; one brother, Marshall McAbee and thirteen grandchildren, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Elizabeth, Joshua, Jonathan, Rebecca, Samuel, Isaac, Caleb, Logan, Corbin, Connor and Ariel McAbee. He was predeceased by one brother, L. Wayne McAbee.
Graveside services will be held at Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 28th, with Rev. Mark Williams officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
