Lorraine A. Zickert Uttech, 89, passed away Saturday, Feb. 23rd, at LaurelWoods Asst. Living, Columbus, NC. She was born in Neillsville, WI on Sept. 4, 1923. She was a daughter of the late Louisa Grosneck Zickert and Reinhard A. Zickert and was also preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Orlie Uttech and her two sons, Mitchell Uttech (Cathy) of Steamboat Springs, CO; Rick Uttech of Oconomowoc, WI.; two daughters, Jill Pitzlin (Mark) of Martinez, CA; Joy Ruebush (Richard) of Campobello, SC; two grandsons, Michael Uttech and Joshua Pitzlin; three granddaughters, Jessica Rice, Kelsey Grant, Kaley Thomas; and four great-grandchildren. Throughout her life she had been a restaurant owner, owning and operating the Skyline Drive-In in Juneau, WI, and co-manager with her husband of the Juneau Community Center. She loved her hobbies of ceramics, cooking and sewing, and spending time with family and friends. She was a current member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Tryon, NC, and a 54 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 15, Juneau, WI. Their will be a prayer service on Friday, March 1 at Seawright Funeral Home, Inman, SC at 5:00 PM with Rev. Thomas Olson officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Research, 4124 Clemson Blvd, Suite L, Anderson, SC 29621 or Trinity Lutheran Church 3353 Highway 175 N Tryon, NC 28782.
