Lois Marie Medley, 83, of Inman, went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 18th, at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born in Spartanburg County on November 8, 1929, a daughter of the late Inez Case and Conwright "C.W." Johnson.
She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Wofford Leo Medley. She was also predeceased by 3 brothers, Homer Lee, Charles, and Maxie Johnson; and one sister Doris Johnson.
Mrs. Medley is survived by one daughter, Dyan Sims (Larry); 2 grandchildren, Tami McClure (Robert) and Angela Dowdle (John Wayne) and their father, Harold McKelvey; 2 great grandchildren, Trey McClure (Ashley) and Kristen Grizzle (John) and 1 great great grandchild, Noah Grizzle.
She was a faithful member of Dependent Baptist Church in Inman.
The family is at the home of her daughter at 232 Orchard Grove Road, Campobello and will receive friends Wednesday 12:00 until 1:00 at Dependent Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Dependent Baptist Church at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 21st, with Rev. Joe Geddes officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Greer, SC.
Mrs. Medley will be missed greatly and was deeply loved by her family.
