Lois Elaine Adams Johnson, 74, of 1705 Skylyn Drive, Spartanburg, SC, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg. Lois was born in Sharon, PA on September 24, 1939, a daughter of the late Margaret (Boyd) Adams and Walter Adams. She was a graduate of the University of Indiana at Pennsylvania. Mrs Johnson was a retired school teacher having taught at Broome High School and Cowpens Junior and Middle Schools. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the Women's Jubilee Club and the National Education Association (NEA). Lois is survived by a daughter, Sharon Anderson O'Donnell (James), of Fort Worth, TX; a son, James E Anderson, of Enoree, SC. Lois is also survived by her first husband, Rodney D Anderson of Tallahassee, FL, 4 granddaughters, Margaret Anderson of Alaska, Victoria Anderson, Alexandria Anderson, both of Tryon, NC, Heather O'Donnell of Fort Worth, TX, 4 grandsons, Scott Anderson, Donovan Anderson, Benjamin Anderson all of Alaska, and Sean O'Donnell of Fort Worth, TX. She was predeceased by her adopted son Bradley Lanford. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 1:00 — 1:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev Dr A Stephen Holler with eulogy by Sharon O'Donnell. The family is accepting flowers or memorials may be made to the Habitat for Humanity.
