Mrs. Lisa Sloan Laughter, 53, of 8500 New Cut Road Campobello passed away Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, Spartanburg, SC.
Mrs. Laughter was born in Spartanburg, SC on July 23, 1955, the daughter of the late Barney Roosevelt Sloan and Virginia (Dobbins) Sloan who survives her of Lyman. She was the wife of Phillip Laughter.
In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by a daughter: Amanda Laughter of the home, 1 brother: Randy Black and sister-in-law Vicki Black of Landrum, brother-in-law: Jimmy Laughter, Sr. of Campobello, nephews: Jimmy Laughter, Jr., Todd Laughter, Cameron Black, great-nephews: Blake, Hunter and Remington Laughter.
She was the nursing home administrator at Inman Healthcare, a member of Inman First Baptist Church, and a member of the Inman Rotary Club.
The family is at the home of her mother, 695 Sloan Road, Lyman and will receive friends Friday 1-3 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 6th, with Dr. Tim Clark officiating.
Mausoleum Encryptment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens , Inman, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 154 Mile Stone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
