Mrs. Linda Bass Shirley, 62, of 102 Long Shoals Road, Marietta, SC passed away Friday, October 1st, 2010 at Greenvi11e Memorial Hospital, Greenville, SC.
Mrs. Shirley was born in Tryon, NC on August 22, 1948, the daughter of the late Edward E and Verlie (Kimmons) Bass and was the wife of Billy Shirley.
In addition to her husband she is survived by 1 daughter: Nikki Shirley, 1 son: Stacy Tucker both of Marietta, SC, stepchildren: Robin, Randy, Rick, Russell, and Connie Shirley, 2 grandchildren: Michael and Cameron Shirley, and 9 step-grandchildren and a nephew, Mark Bass. She was predeceased by a brother: Joseph Bass, and granddaughter: Deanna Brooke Tucker.
She was formerly employed at Fluor-Daniels and was a member of Inman First Baptist Church.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Sunday 4:00 -6:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 3:00 PM on Monday, October 4th, with Dr Paul Moore officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC.
