Linda Ada Gibson

Linda Ada McEntire Gibson, 77, of 611 Kneewood Ct in Boiling Springs, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Gibson was born in Polk County, NC on January 4, 1949, a daughter of the late Maddie Sue Edwards McEntire and George McEntire. She was the widow of Clyde B. "Pete" Gibson and was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters; Stephanie Bennett (Gerald) of Boiling Springs, Misty Gibson of Boiling Springs, two sisters; Gena Moss of Boiling Springs, Marian Sue Sinclair Rosier of Augusta, GA, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by two sons, Ronnie Lee Metcalf, Jr, Benjamin Gibson, and a daughter, Sonya Gibson. Private interment will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens.
