Linda Powell Denton

Linda Powell Denton, 75, Inman, SC, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020. Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on January 22, 1945, she was a daughter of the late James R. Powell and the late Ruth Cannon Powell and was the wife of Don Denton.

Linda was a faithful member of Inman First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Agape Sunday School Class, the Cheerios Ministry, and the technology team. She was a loving wife, mother, and Nana as well as a friend to many. She loved her Lord, life, family, sports and especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by two brothers, Curtis Powell (Joy) of Spartanburg, SC and Richard Powell (Carol) of Harrisburg, NC; one sister, Sarah Powell Pack (Tommy) of Campobello, SC; one son, Keith Denton (Julie) of Easley; Daughter, Jeri Denton Carter (Keith) of Williamston, SC and five grandchildren, Caroline Denton Cothran (Davidson), Elizabeth Denton, Wyatt Denton, Denton Carter and Caleb Carter.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Linda Powell Denton will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Inman First Baptist Church with Dr. Paul Moore officiating.
