Linda Kay Burrell

Linda Kay Burrell, 81, of 330 Blackwell Drive in Inman, passed away Friday, October 30, 2026, at her home.

Linda was born in Bristol, VA on April 21, 1945, a daughter of the late Jean Faukner Griffin and Clarence O. Hurt. She was the widow of Walter "Walt" Preston Burrell.

She retired from Toledo Scales.

She is survived by one daughter, Angie Gentry of Inman; a brother, Jerry Hurt and his wife, Alberta, from Tennessee; two sisters, Patty Tedder and her husband, Marty, of Inman, and Rosemary Barker from Tennessee; a grandaughter, Amber Nicole Gentry Perdue and her husband, Ethan, of Inman; a grandson, J.T. Gentry and his wife, Brittney, of Inman; a great granddaughter, Ellie Gentry of Inman; two nieces, Briana Settle, Jenna Abernathy; and two nephews, Eddie Barker and Terry Hurt.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 3rd at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman with Pastor Mike Mills officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the funeral home.

Burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Agape Hospice, 1060 Boiling Springs Rd, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.
