Lillie Helen Hendrick Liggett, 90, formerly of 647 Clarion Court, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Lakewood Senior Living in Boiling Springs, South Carolina. Lillie was born in Palm Harbor, Florida on May 15, 1930, a daughter of the late Daniel Chandler Hendrick and Edna Inez Downs Hendrick. She was raised in Dayton, Tennessee. She was the wife of James Francis Liggett. Mrs. Liggett was a former employee at Danner Press and Montgomery Ward, both in Canton, Ohio, and was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church in Inman, South Carolina.
In addition to her husband, Lillie is survived by a daughter, Shirley A. Miller, of Massillon, Ohio; a son, James R. Liggett and his wife, Cathy, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Melissa Powell, Kari King, James McCauley; four great-grandchildren, Kallie King, Mackenzie King, Sydney Stollor and Sophie McCauley.
She is also survived by five sisters, Greta MacPherson and her husband, Walter, of Dayton, Tennessee; Ernestine Knight and her husband, Earl of Pikeville, Tennessee; Martha Fugate and her husband, Wayne, of Aiken, South Carolina; Kathy Turner and her husband, Brince of Hephzibah, Georgia; Beverly Gholston, of Pikeville, Tennessee; four brothers, Max Hendrick, of Dandridge, Tennessee; Donald Hendrick and his wife, Pat, of Dayton, Tennessee; Randall Hendrick and his wife, Cathy, of Floral City, Florida; and Harold Hendrick, of Dayton, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, Mrs, Liggett was predeceased by two brothers, Landon and Norris Hendrick.
