Mrs. Lila Inez Fowler Goforth, 80 of 63 Blackstock Road Inman passed away Friday, May 23rd, 2008 at Magnolia Manor of Inman after a long illness.
Mrs. Goforth was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 4, 1927, the daughter of the late Mr Fowler and Mrs. Mae B. (Sparks) Fowler and was the widow of James Robert Goforth.
She is survived by three daughters: Jo Ann Murphy Best of Inman, Delores Jean Hudson of Cowpens, Peggy Alisa Henderson of Wellford, 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons: Roger Daniel Murphy and James Larry Goforth and one sister: Alma Graves.
She retired from textiles and was of the Baptist Faith
Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, Spartanburg, SC at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 25th.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., 17th floor, Chicago, Illinois 60601.
