Lewis Michael Crissone

Lewis Michael Crissone, 81, of Inman, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 16, 2026.

Born in Tryon, North Carolina on May 22, 1944, he was a son of the late George Clyde Crissone and Mary Alice (Flanigan) Crissone and was the husband of the late Janice Gilbert Crissone.

Mr. Crissone was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church and served faithfully in the "Over 60 Grumpy Old Men's Sunday School Class". He was employed with Spartanburg Steel for over 30 years and was a member of the Inman Masonic Lodge #201 and the Mid-City Shrine.

He is survived by two sons, Lewis E. Crissone and his wife Bobbi and J. Scott Crissone; three grandchildren, Megan C. Herndon (John W.), Corey L. Crissone (Brittany Brown) and Gene Moss; five great-grandchildren, Emma Herndon, Anslee Herndon, Sawyer Howard, Reagan Crissone and Kylen Moss; four sisters, Jane Atkins, Joyce Harwood, Bobbi Nodine and Lynn Crissone; one brother, John Crissone and his loving companion, Diane Suttles.

He was predeceased by three sisters, Betty, Kathleen and Margaret (Peg) and three brothers, George (Bill), David and Clyde Jr.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 from 1:00-1:45 PM at Lake Bowen Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM at Lake Bowen Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Atkins and Rev. Mike Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Masonic Rites by the Inman Masonic Lodge #201. Service as pallbearers will be Corey Crissone, John W. Herndon, Billy Price, Blake Crocker, David Peters and Carroll Loftis. Honorary Pallbearers will be the "Over 60 Grumpy Old Men's Sunday School Class".

The family is at the home of Lewis and Bobbi Crissone.
