Lewis Jerry Clayton, 61, of 181 Farms Bridge Road, Inman, SC, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Jerry was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 20, 1953, a son of the late Lewis J and Beatrice (Goodson) Clayton. He was the husband of Patricia (Garrett) Clayton, was retired from A & R Auto Parts and was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Dayton Lewis Clayton and wife Jackie of Inman; Brandon "Bubba" Jones, of Inman; a sister, Emma C Jackson, of Lyman, and one granddaughter, Gracelynn Clayton. He was predeceased by two brothers, Bobby and Leon Clayton. The familiy is at 6230 New Cut Road, Inman and will receive friends Sunday 2:30 — 3:30 PM at Holly Springs Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at Holly Springs Baptist Church at 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 8th, with Dr Tim Clark and Rev Wesley Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hejaz Temple, P0 Box 667, Mauldin, SC 29662.
