Letha Mae Brown

Letha Mae Brown, 95, of 8020 White Ave. went home to be in the arms of the Lord on Sunday, June 6th, 2010. Mrs. Brown was born in Burnsville, NC on November 21, 1914, the daughter of the late Charlie and Myrtle (Byrd) Higgins. She was the widower of Johnny Mack Brown.
She was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church in Inman and a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Louise Nichols and husband Glenn of Greer, Wilma Bayne of Greenville, two sons Roy Brown of Spartanburg and Charles Brown and wife Donna of Startex. She is also survived by four sisters, Gladys Cox and Earline Smith both of Inman, Virginia Harris of Holly Springs and Pansy Higgins of Forest City NC, one brother, Roscoe Higgins Of Inman. There are four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.The family would like to give special thanks to Kitty for all of her love and patience given to Mrs. Brown as a caregiver.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mark Williams officiating. A visitation will be held one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lake Bowen Baptist Church Cemetery, Inman. The family is at their respective homes.
