Leslie Joey Bogan, 60, of 823 Affirmed Drive, Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Leslie was born in Union, SC on July 12, 1953, a son of the late C.P. and Peggy (Sherfield) Bogan. He was the husband of Suzanne (Holland) Bogan, retired from Iscar Metal Products and was of the Methodist faith. He was an avid country music fan and a classic car enthusiast. In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Keela Long (Phil), of Moore, SC; Keri Bogan, of Charleston, SC and 6 step-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, May 20th, with Rev Terry Fleming officiating. The family is at the home and will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Center of the Carolinas, 120 Dillon Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307 or Relay for Life of Spartanburg, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
