Leonard Kenneth Childers, 65, of 127 Joyce Drive, Chesnee, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017.
Leonard was born in Spartanburg on August, 2 1951, a son of the late Virginia (Smith) Pittman and Leonard Childers. He was retired from textiles.
He is survived by a son, Brian Childers of Inman; two daughters, Regina Metcalf of Cowpens, Danielle Childers of Greenville; two sisters, Dale Lamb of Virginia, Jodi Lemmons of Louisiana; and five grandchildren. The family is at 260 Quail Creek Road, Inman and will receive friends Friday following the service at Seawright Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel at 3:00 PM on Friday, January 6th, with Rev. Kenneth Cash officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kenneth Childers Memorial Fund, PO Box 192, Inman, SC 29349.
