 Leonard Eugene Barnette, 51, of 350 Clark Road in Inman, passed away Monday, May 1st, 2023 at his home. 
Leonard was born in Polk County, NC on October 9, 1971, a son of the late Lois Inez Brannon Barnette Lawson and the late Alvin Curtis Barnette. He was the step-son of the late Lee Lawson, Jr. Leonard loved all of his family and his friends.
Family survivors include his wife, Laura Russell Barnette, a son, Jeffery Wood of Spartanburg, two brothers, Joe Barnette of Inman, William Alvin "Bill" Barnette of Inman, three grandchildren, Drake Wood, Kirk Wood, Kat Wood, a niece, Katie Barnette, a nephew, Gabriel Barnette, two great nieces, Shayla Williams and Caroline Barnette, and a great nephew, Kaleb Thompson.
