Leon Miles Easler, 74, of 451 Tool Road, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Leon was born in Spatanburg, South Carolina on November 27, 1942, a son of the late Oathur Miles Easler and Edna Beatrice Allen Easler. Mr. Easler was a member of Abner Baptist Church, where he formerly served as a deacon and scout master. He was a retired owner and operator with Easler Pools. Leon is survived by a daughter, Dawn Easler Reaves, and her husband, Mike of Spartanburg, South Carolina; a daughter-in-law, Kay Raines Easler of Inman, South Carolina; two grandsons, Preston Michael Reaves and Bryson Matthew Reaves, both of Spartanburg, South Carolina; a sister, Debra E. Kennedy, and her husband, Lester of Spartanburg, South Carolina; a brother, Arthur Easler, and his wife, Connie of Spartanburg, South Carolina. In addition to his parents, Mr. Easler was predeceased by a son, Kelly Easler; two sisters, Marion E. Gowan , Vivian Easler and one brother, Gerald Easler. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM , Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Rupert Guest. A visitation will immediately follow the service at Seawright Funeral Home.
