Lenore Rose Stottlemyer

Lenore Rose Stottlemyer, 92, of Spartanburg, South Carolina passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Born in Myersville, Maryland on May 23, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Mabel (Poffenburger) Moser and Lloyd Moser and was married to the late Vernon Lee Stottlemyer.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist, was a lifelong bowler and loved quilting and puzzles.

She is survived by her four children, Dennis Wayne Stottlemyer (Holly) of Beaufort, South Carolina, Nancy Lee Snow (Daniel) of Wellford, South Carolina, Patrick Allen Stottlemyer (Deanna) of Inman, South Carolina and Michael Lynn Stottlemyer (Michele) of Martinsburg, West Virginia and sixteen grandchildren, Dennis Stottlemyer Jr., Dee Ann Strand, Edward Stottlemyer, Troy Allen Stottlemyer, Sherry Pitts, Andrew Snow, Hillary Snow, Timothy Snow, Christopher Smith, Brittany Smith, Bobby Blauert, Bonnie Blauert, Justin Blauert, Ashleigh Stottlemyer, Kayla Stottlemyer and Tommy Stottlemyer and many great grandchildren and a special niece Brenda Kemp of Frederick, Maryland.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also predeceased by her sister, Marrietta E. Fogle.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Care Baptist Church, 849 Fairmont Ave., Spartanburg, South Carolina 29301.

Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Bobby Henderson officiating.

The family would like to express a very special thank you to the care team at White Oak North Grove for the love and care given to Mrs. Stottlemyer.

* On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, services will be held as Grossnickle's Church of the Brethren in Myersville, Maryland. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM with service to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Grossnickle's Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Myersville, Maryland.
