Lenhart Gene McDole

 Lenhart Gene "Lenny" McDole, 74, of Campobello passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024 at his residence.

Lenny was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 22, 1950, a son of the late Norma Jean Gill McDole and Rev. Richard L. McDole and was the husband of Lynn Abernatha Ruppert McDole who survives him of the home.

He retired from Pet Dairy and was a member of Gramling Methodist Church. Lenny enjoyed working in his yard or fishing, his church, and had a fondness for horses. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. 

In addition to his wife, Lynn, he is also survived by two sisters, Lori Kuehl of Frostproof, FL, Shelly Streacker of Tampa, FL, two stepsons, Joe Ruppert and John Ruppert, both of York, PA, 2 grandchildren, Cheyenne Ruppert and Shaun Ruppert, four great grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a large extended family.

A memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 16th at Gramling Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Brown officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Gramling Methodist Church Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gramling Methodist Church, PO Box 58, Gramling, SC 29348.
