Lee Hicks Tate

Lee Hicks Tate, 80, of 110 Old Kimbrell Road, Boiling Springs, formerly of Lewis Drive in Wellford, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023 at his residence.
Lee was born in Harris, North Carolina on April 9, 1943, a son of the late Helen Wilkins Tate and Lloyd Hoyle Tate. He retired from Boiler Tube.
Survivors include a daughter, Angela Mize and her husband, Rick of Boiling Springs, half-sister, Donna Kay Keever of Rutherfordton, half-brother, Marshal Rafford of Lake Lure, N.C., four grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and his very special friend, Doris Center of Landrum.

The family is at the home and will receive friends 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 2nd at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 2nd at Seawright Funeral Home, with Rev. Jimmy Benfield officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Agape Hospice, 1060 Boiling Springs Rd, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.
