Laylous Dover High, 87, of 127 High Dr. Spartanburg, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at her home. 
Mrs. High was born in Spartanburg on May 16, 1935, a daughter of the late Lillian Splawn Dover and James Dover and she was the widow of Rudolph "Sam" Townsend High.
She had retired from Cryovac and was a member of First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg where she had also been active in her Sunday School.
She is survived by a daughter, Tammy Belcher and her husband, William of Boiling Springs, two grandchildren, Mackenzie Tillinghast and her husband, Cory, Addison Neidlinger and her husband, P.J., two great grandchildren, Maverick and Willow, and a brother, Paul Dover of Shelby, NC.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman with Rev. Sean Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Traditions Health Hospice 115 Southport Road Spartanburg, S.C. 29306.
