Inman, SC--- Laura Ashley Hood, 34, of 7 Oakland Ave. passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Born in Spartanburg, SC on June 8, 1983, she was the daughter of Dawsey and Diane (Waters) Hood and also leave behind her loving companion, Jamey Gladden. Ashley was employed with Village Green Golf Course.
She is also survived by two sons, Noah James Hood of Inman, SC and Lance Corporal Quentin Isaiah Lewis, United States Marine Corps; one brother, Aaron Hood and wife Cristine of Richmond Hill, GA; two half-brothers, Dee Hood and wife Bonnie of Leonardtown, MD and Todd Hood and his wife Shelby of Spartanburg, SC along with two nephews, Aiden Hood and Caden Hood and one niece, Julia Hood.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 2:00 - 2:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held in the Seawright Funeral Chapel at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 15, 2017 with Dr. Paul Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Rd. Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at the home.
