Inman, SC--Mrs. Laura Jane Everhart Foster, 79, of 59 Blackstock Road, Inman, SC formerly of 119 Pineview Drive, Inman passed away Friday, September 10th, 2010 at Camp Care Nursing Home in Inman

Mrs. Foster was born in Inman, SC on October 30, 1930, the daughter of the late Joe "Big Joe" Everhart, Sr. and Kathreen "Tack" (Lee) Everhart and was the widow of Robert Q. Foster.
She is survived by 1 daughter: Carole Ann Hightower and husband Carr of Inman, 1 son: Michael Foster of Chapin, SC, 2 brothers: Jim Everhart of Inman, Rev John Everhart of Greenville, SC and 6 grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Joe Everhart, Jr. She was formerly employed at Fairforest Nursery and the Plant Outlet and was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

The family is at the home of her grandson, Caleb, 119 Pineview Dr., Inman and will receive friends Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will follow in the church sanctuary at 3:00 PM on Sunday with Rev. Gary Byrd and Rev John Everhart officiating.

Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 690 Park Rd, Inman, SC 29349 or the Jim Everhart Scholarship Fund, 424 East Kennedy Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
