Laura Ann Dobbins, 49, of 290 Riveroak Drive, Inman, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Laura was born in Spartanburg on December 11, 1967, the daughter of Patricia Bailey Darby, of Inman, and the late Gary Lynn Darby. She was a strong, devoted mother, full of unconditional love to all. She attended Covenant Worship Center in Boiling Springs, and was a volunteer at Mary's House, a safe homes-Rape Crisis Center in Spartanburg. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two sons; Andrew Dobbins (Erin) of Spartanburg, Jonathan Dobbins (Amber) of Chesnee, her daughter; Rebecca Elizabeth Dobbins of Inman, two grandchildren; Rylie Davis and Robby Davis, two aunts; Connie Rodgers (Bob) of Spartanburg, Barbara Williams of Wellford, and many cousins. In addition to her father, she was also predeceased by her brother, Brett Darby. The family is at the home and will receive friends Wednesday 12:30 until 1:30 PM at Ben Avon Baptist Church, Spartanburg. A memorial service will be held at Ben Avon Baptist Church at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, July 19th, with Rev. Alan Ruff officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mary's House, 236 Union Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
