CHARLESTON – Lori Budak, 62, passed away from an ongoing illness while in acute care on Wednesday, August 25, 2021.
Lori was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 26, 1958. She is one of six children born to Dr. George G. Budak and Edna L. Budak (St. Louis). Lori graduated from Michigan State University and later from Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara School of Medicine.
Lori is survived by her brothers, George J. Budak and Jack J. Budak, sister, Jane B. Martin and nieces, Kristin, Madeline and Olivia. Lori is preceded in death by her brother, Stephen "Bryan" Budak, sister, Deborah Budak and her parents. There will be a private family service held at Our Lady of Good Counsel, Folly Beach.
